LETOP Type 1 + 2 Surge Protective Device combines the benefits of Type 1 and Type 2 surge protectors to provide more comprehensive protection. It can be installed on the incoming line switchboard of a building or inside a switchboard. The device can handle both high and low energy surges, providing dual protection. With a nominal discharge current between 12.5kA and 25kA, it is designed for 10/350µs waveforms and is able to withstand stronger shocks. Suitable for high security environments such as high-rise buildings, communication base stations and medical equipment, Type 1 + 2 SPD provides a higher level of protection for critical infrastructure and sensitive equipment.
LETOP Type 2 surge protective device is typically installed in distribution cabinets or branch distribution boxes. It focuses on reducing residual surge voltage and protecting downstream equipment. The nominal discharge current (In) is typically between 5kA and 20kA and is suitable for lightning currents of 8/20µs waveforms. Ideal for medium-risk environments such as commercial buildings, data centers, and manufacturing plants.
